Editing your truck profile
Your truck profile is what customers see when they land on your truck's page on Trucked Up. Keeping it current is the single highest-leverage thing you can do — better photos, an accurate description, and working contact info turn lookers into orderers.
What you'll need
- A Trucked Up account that's connected to your truck (see Claiming your truck).
- 5–10 minutes the first time; 30 seconds for ongoing edits.
On the web
Sign in at truckedup.food/login.
From your Owner Dashboard, click Edit Profile. (Or go directly to truckedup.food/owner/profile.)
Update any of the fields below, then click Save Profile at the bottom of the page.
You'll see a green confirmation toast for a few seconds when the save lands. There's no autosave — leaving the page without clicking Save will discard your changes.
On iOS
Open the Trucked Up app and sign in.
Go to the My Truck tab and tap Profile.
Tap any field to edit it. When you're done, tap Save at the top right.
- If you try to leave the screen with unsaved changes, the app will ask "Discard changes?" before letting you go.
What you can edit
The same set of fields are available on both web and iOS, with one exception called out below.
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Truck name | Required. This is how your truck appears on the map and in search results. |
| Cuisine types | Pick up to 3. The first one is treated as your primary cuisine. |
| Neighborhood | Optional. Helps customers filter by area. |
| Description | Tell customers who you are. Bilingual (English + Spanish — see below). |
| Address | Your "home base" or default location. Uses an autocomplete to standardize the address. (Your day-to-day stops are managed in Schedule, not here.) |
| Phone | Customers can tap to call. |
| Contact email | For customer questions and booking inquiries. Can be different from your sign-in email. |
| Website | Optional. Link to your own site if you have one. |
| Instagram handle | Without the @. We'll link it for you. |
| TikTok handle | Without the @. |
| Facebook URL | Full URL to your Facebook page. |
Bilingual descriptions (English + Spanish)
Trucked Up shows your description in the customer's preferred language. Most owners write English first and let us auto-translate to Spanish on save:
- On web: type your description in English. We'll translate it to Spanish when you click Save. You can switch to the Spanish field afterward and tweak the translation by hand if you want — you have full control of both.
- On iOS: the language picker at the top of the Description section lets you switch between EN and ES. Auto-translation happens on save the same way. Heads up: manual tweaks to the Spanish version are easier on the web editor right now — if a translation is awkward, fixing it from the laptop is the smoother path.
Common questions
Will my changes appear on the public page right away? Yes — within a few seconds of saving, the public page (truckedup.food/trucks/<your-truck>) will show the new info.
Can I change my truck's URL slug? Not from the editor. If you really need to change your URL (e.g., truck name change), email us — we'll redirect the old URL so existing links keep working.
Why can't I edit my hours here? We don't ask for set "hours of operation" because food trucks don't really work that way. What customers actually want to know is where you'll be today and this week — that lives in Schedule, not the profile.
The Spanish translation is off — can I fix it? Yes. Switch to the Spanish field (web: it's right next to the English one; iOS: use the language toggle), edit it however you like, and Save. Your manual edit will be saved verbatim — we won't re-translate.
I uploaded a photo and it's still showing the old one on my public page. Photos sometimes need a few seconds for our CDN to pick up the change. Refresh the public page after ~30 seconds. If it still shows the old image, see Uploading logo, photos, and videos.
